Ingredients
1lbground beef
½yellow onion, diced
1oz.packet taco seasoning
½cupbeef broth
1cupred salsa
1cupsour cream
12corn tortillas
2cupsshredded cheddar cheese

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9-inch pie dish; set aside.
In a medium saucepan, brown the beef over medium heat. Crumble meat in the pan as it cooks. Add the onions and cook 5 to 7 more minutes. Drain excess grease. Mix in the taco seasoning and beef broth; simmer 5 more minutes.
In a medium bowl, combine salsa and sour cream to make a sauce. Spread ¼ cup sauce evenly into bottom of prepared pie dish. Layer 6 tortillas, slightly overlapping each other and the sides of the pie dish, then half of the meat mixture, and then half of the sour cream mixture. Top with half of cheese; repeat layers (starting with tortillas, ending with cheese).
Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden. Remove from oven and let rest 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve with optional toppings.
