Cut-Out Cookies!

What You Need:

*unsalted butter *granulated sugar *light brown sugar *pumpkin puree *large egg *vanilla extract *flour *baking powder *pumpkin pie spice *ground cinnamon *salt

Mix Wet

Beat butter & sugars until light and fluffy. Stir in the pumpkin puree, then beat in the egg and vanilla.

Assemble Ingredients

 Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, & pumpkin spice. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet until fully incorporated. Cover and chill the dough for an hour.

Divide & Chill

Divide dough in half and shape each into a disc. Wrap tightly with plastic wrap and chill in fridge for one hour.

Roll Out & Cut

On a large clean surface, roll dough to about 1/4-inch thickness. Cut out shapes with cookie cutter & transfer to baking sheet.

Bake

Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool 8 minutes on cookie sheet then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Serve & Enjoy! 

 

Decorate as desired with preferred icing and sprinkles.
