– 1 refrigerated pie crust
– ½ cup granulated sugar
– 3 large eggs
– 1 cup corn syrup , light or dark*
– ½ cup unsalted butter melted
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– 2 cups raw pecan halves
