– 4 oz block extra sharp cheddar cheese , grated
– 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
– ½ cup white whole wheat flour
– ¼ cup all-purpose flour
– ⅛ teaspoon onion powder
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– 2 to 2 ½ Tablespoons milk , plus more for brushing
– Kosher salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Using a food processor process the cheese, butter, flours, onion powder, salt and 2 Tablespoons of the milk until a dough is formed. Roll out the dough and cut into 1x1-inch squares. Transfer the dough squares onto the baking sheets.
