FRIED ICE  CREAM

This fried ice cream is a sweet, crunchy refreshing treat that is simple to make.

Cool down this summer with my delicious fried ice cream recipe!

Ingredients:

– 1 quart vanilla ice cream , slightly softened – 4 cups CornFlakes cereal , crushed – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 2 eggs , beaten – 1 Tablespoon milk – 1 ½ cups vegetable oil – caramel and chocolate syrup , or honey, for topping (optional)

This recipe is simple enough that anyone can make it, we promise! 

HOW TO MAKE   FRIED ICE CREAM

GENERAL STEPS

Place 4 scoops of ice cream on a tray in the freezer to firm up. Mix the crushed cornflakes with cinnamon and in a separate bowl mix the eggs and milk together. Once the ice cream scoops are firm, roll in the cornflakes and then in the egg mixture, then repeat cornflake mixture. Place back in the freezer.

READY TO ENJOY! 

Heat oil in a skillet. Remove the ice cream from the freezer and fry each coated ice cream round for 20 to 25 seconds, turning to fry evenly.
