How to Make Sticky Buns

Make the Dough

•Microwave milk, sugar, butter. •Mix with salt and yeast. •Add flour until dough forms.

Let Dough Rise

Let dough rise, covered, in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.

Make the Topping

•Cream butter and brown sugar. •Mix in corn syrup and vanilla. •Spread into 9x13 pan. •Sprinkle chopped pecans.

Make Filling

Combine melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt; set aside.

Assemble Rolls

•Roll dough into rectangle. •Spread filling over surface of dough. •Roll tightly into log and slice 12 pieces.

Second Rise

•Place rolls into pan over top pecans. •Cover and let rise 30 more minutes.

Bake

•Preheat oven to 350°F. •Bake 30 minutes, until golden. •Let cool 10 minutes, then invert onto serving platter.
