– 1 cup all purpose flour
– ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
– 1 teaspoon baking soda
– ½ teaspoon salt
– ½ cup unsalted butter melted
– ½ cup granulated sugar
– ½ cup light brown sugar
– 1 cup mashed ripened bananas (about 3 medium overripe bananas)
– 2 large eggs lightly beaten
– ½ cup sour cream
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips divided
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. In a medium bowl, beat together the melted butter and sugars until thick. Stir in the banana, eggs, sour cream and vanilla. Pour into the dry ingredients and gently stir to combine. Fold in 1 cup of the chocolate chips.
