•Candy Cane Kisses (Hershey's brand) •Unsalted butter •Granulated sugar •Eggs •Flour •Baking powder •Vanilla & peppermint extracts •Red & green sugar crystals (optional)

Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix Wet Ingredients

Cream butter and sugar. Mix in eggs, then vanilla and peppermint extracts.

Mix Dry Ingredients

In separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder and salt.

Mix Wet & Dry

Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients until combined. Stir in optional sugar crystals.

Shape Dough Balls

Place sugar in small bowl. Shape dough balls and roll in sugar to coat. Transfer to baking sheet.

Bake

Bake 10 minutes.

Add Kisses

Remove from oven, let cookies cool just 2 minutes before placing a candy cane kiss on the center of each cookie.
