10-CUP COOKIES

Do you have a hard time memorizing recipes? Well this one, my friends, might boost your self esteem in that area.  It's called 10-cup cookies for a reason.  Why?  Because there are 10 ingredients measured at 1 cup.

Ingredients:

– 1 cup unsalted butter , room temperature – 1 cup peanut butter – 1 cup brown sugar – 1 cup granulated sugar – 2 eggs – 1 cup flour – ½ teaspoon baking powder – 1 teaspoon baking soda – ¼ teaspoon salt – 1 cup oatmeal – 1 cup chopped nuts – 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips – 1 cup raisins – 1 cup shredded coconut

Ten of the ingredients measure at 1 cup each, giving this recipe its name. With so many components, each bite is sure to surprise you!

GENERAL STEPS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat together the butter, peanut butter and sugars until light and creamy. Add the eggs one at a time. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Slowly mix it into the wet ingredients until just combined. Stir in the oatmeal, then the nuts, chocolate chips, raisins and coconut.

Drop tablespoons of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
