I have a love for coffee. For years, my go-to cup has been a Starbucks® blend - whether from a K-Cup® Pack, freshly ground beans in my French press, or an entire pot I brewed to share with guests. That's why I'm pleased to announce I've partnered with Starbucks this year to test their new products and give you all the details on what's up and coming!
Because both Ben and I typically drink just one cup per day, we have been using the same Keurig machine for the last four years in making our daily serving. We've been through many different types of K-Cup packs. Our favorite is a Starbucks blonde roast, such as the Veranda Blend® you see pictured. We also enjoy a medium roast, and it's always good to have a dark roast on hand for those who love the deep rich brew.
In my Welcome Kit for this program, I received Starbucks' core coffees along with a K-Cup carousel to store the individual packets. I love the way it looks in my coffee station, welcoming guests to spin and choose their favorite. Also included was a Starbucks stacking mug (I have three now!) and a coffee passport and tasting guide.
My plan during this program is to also offer you food pairings for the coffees I'll be tasting and sharing, by linking some of my favorite recipes on Seeded at the Table or other friends' blogs. Let's start with the coffees included in my Welcome Kit: Starbucks® Veranda Blend®, Starbucks® House Blend and Starbucks® Caffé Verona® Blend.
The Starbucks® Veranda Blend is "subtle with delicate nuances of soft cocoa and lightly toasted nuts." It pairs well with a simple chocolate chip cookie! Try this recipe: Brown Butter Toffee and Chocolate Chip Cookies.
The Starbucks® House Blend is "aroma, body and flavor all in balance - with tastes of nuts and cocoa brought out by the roast." Pairs lovely with a blueberry muffin! Try this recipe: My Favorite Blueberry Muffins.
The Starbucks® Caffé Verona® Blend is "well-balanced and rich with a dark cocoa texture." This one also pairs very well with a chocolate chip scone. Try this recipe: Chocolate Chip Scones.
If you make and enjoy these recipes, please share your photo of them on Instagram or Twitter and tag #SeededAtTheTable and #CoffeePassion.
Disclosure: As part of the Starbucks Coffee Blogger Community, I receive periodic samples of up and coming Starbucks products to review. I am not compensated and all opinions are my own.
