This Fruity Brownie Dessert Pizza comes together quickly with a boxed brownie mix and a fruity cream cheese frosting. Top off with a dollop of whipped cream and you have the easiest dessert ever!
If you've been reading my blog for quite some time, you probably already know this about me. I absolutely love brownies. Serve me brownies for dessert, and I'll never be disappointed. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on top, and I'll be your best friend...forever.
This time, though, I went a step further into my kingdom of fudgy brownie love and created a way to enjoy it for the summer. I stirred some cream cheese into that powdered sugar and spread it over the top of my pan of brownies. Then, I topped that with a healthy dose of fresh fruit. Did I mention that the brownies were baked in a round pizza pan? Yep, fruity brownie pizza, people! Dig it? Judah does...
Really, with the ease of this recipe, you have no excuse to not make this dessert. Fresh fruit is at our finger tips now, and will be all summer long. Get creative and mix up the toppings with your personal favorite fruits, but don't forget to top each slice off with a dollop of COOL WHIP whipped topping. It makes every bite that much better.
Tell me, what is your favorite dessert and how do you plan to enjoy it this summer? 🙂

Fruity Brownie Dessert Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 boxed brownies mix (for a 9x13-inch pan)
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup water
- ½ cup oil
- 8 oz cream cheese , softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 bananas
- lemon juice
- 1 ½ cups diced strawberries
- ½ cup blueberries
- 8 oz COOL WHIP whipped topping
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 12-inch round (rimmed) pizza pan with nonstick spray; set aside. (You can also use the disposable round pizza pans.)
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, water and oil. Stir until just combined. Pour into the greased pan and spread evenly with a spatula. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove the brownie pan from the oven and allow to completely cool in the pan on a wire rack.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread evenly over the top of the cooled brownie round. Slice the bananas and sprinkle with lemon juice to preserve the coloring. Place the banana slices evenly over the top of the cream cheese layer. Sprinkle with strawberries and blueberries.
- Slice into wedges and serve immediately with a dollop of COOL WHIP whipped topping.

Made this over the fourth, then forgot to comment! Everyone LOVED it! I made some changes (big one being the pans.... I only had disposable round cake pans, so I used those!), but it was a hit! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, Serena! Glad you remembered to come back and leave your feedback. It's nice knowing, too, that you used round cake pans with success!

Can't wait to make this dish
Christina says
How long can this sit out at room temperature?
Nikki Gladd says
Hi Christina,
That's a hard one to answer as I think there would be differing opinions on this as some people are okay letting foods sit out longer than others. Also, the temperature of the room and humidity can affect how long it sits out. I would say at least an hour and just keep your eye on it.

Just made this to bring to a bbq today. Came out fabulous. Just like the picture. Tasted delicious. Next time I will use a bit more cream cheese so that it spreads just a wee bit thicker around the brownie crust. Otherwise, very pleased !!

I love the concept of cream and berries on top of the brownie - what a terrific combination. Our best family dessert hands down is my self saucing chocolate pudding - pure indulgence 🙂

Hi Nikki,
I just stumbled upon this website from a facebook friend who linked to a pinterest page that linked your strawberry agua fresca, haha. Growing up, one of the desserts we used to often make with our grandmother was this fruit pizza. The only difference was, the frosting was a blend of cream cheese and fluff. I'll also have to try your salsa recipe... I LOVE restaurant salsa, and I'm surprised there aren't many (if any) options to buy restaurant-style salsa from a jar. Anyway, the real reason I'm commenting is I read on your biscuits recipe that you moved to MS for your husband's seminary. So funny that I "stumbled" across this blog. We live in MA, which, spiritually speaking, is drier than the desert. Not a lot churches, even fewer Biblical churches. So we have been without a church for quite a while and my husband has just recently started to seriously consider a seminary in CA to become a pastor. This would mean leaving my entire family and all that I know, with our 3 young children in tow. It was encouraging to me to read that you played with the other seminary children every day, because honestly, of all the things that moving entails, my biggest concern is "what will I do with my kids all day??" How has it been being away from your/his family? How is sem life in general? What sem is he attending? I would love to hear some insight from you, if you have time 😉

Hi Leah! I am sending you a response via email. Let me know if you don't receive it. 🙂
