Ready for the Super Bowl? I have a free printable football banner you can use to decorate for your football super bowl party!
Before we get to the free football banner, who do you think will play this year? Since my Bears weren't even in the playoffs, I think I am going to cheer for the Panthers. It would be nice to see someone else besides the Patriots, Steelers, Broncos, etc. for a change! (Although I do like the occasional Peyton Manning.) 😉
I want to know your thoughts about the halftime show, too! Coldplay and Beyoncé? Is Rihanna performing? Anyone else? I miss the Michael Jackson days and wish he could make a special appearance for the 50th Super Bowl. Maybe they could bring him back as a hologram? Hmmmm.... Haha!
I have this free printable banner for your Super Bowl party or any football themed party you may be throwing. For me, after I took down our Christmas decorations, I was trying to decide how to decorate for the current season. It was too early to put up any sort of Valentine's stuff and it doesn't really feel like winter here in Mississippi, so snowy theme decorations just wouldn't cut it.
We loooove watching NFL football together, especially during the playoffs, so I eventually came up with the idea to decorate with a football theme during the month of January through Super Bowl Sunday.
This football banner is the first piece I came up with! I created it on a free online editor and then printed them for super cheap at Office Depot (hint: do a Google search for a promo code with them! I found a 20% off one!). Print on cardstock and cut out, and then use a hole punch for each side. I had hemp rope on hand to thread through the holes and hang on the fireplace. This project cost me less than $3.
