Barista Parlor - An artisan coffeehouse tucked away in East Nashville.
While in Nashville last fall, our friends made sure we checked out Barista Parlor, one of the most unique coffeehouses I've ever visited.
I was immediately drawn to its craftsmanship appeal, with the long slab wooden tables and stools.
They also seem to draw in a wide variety of people, although I'm pretty sure Ben called it a hipster dive. 😉
After driving up in a minivan, I felt a bit uncool without a motorcycle, but nerves were easily pushed aside once we walked around the corner and saw the big blue wall with the garage door openings. It was a pleasant day, so the doors were wide open, allowing the feel that you were actually sipping your coffee outside.
Barista Parlor is known for their handcrafted by-the-cup coffee, but also for their breakfast biscuits. I didn't get a chance to try one when we were there, but I'm definitely going back for one the next time we're in town.
Another small thing that sets Barista Parlor apart? They give you these little men as your token to set at your table so they know where to deliver your order.
Whiskey Caramel Latte... our friend's favorite. I had a sip, you must try it.
If you are in Nashville, TN, you must take the time to find Barista Parlor in East Nashville. I heard another is opening (or already has?) in The Gulch, too! For now, here is the address of the one we visited:

(This is not a paid promotion. The owners of Barista Parlor do not even know about me. I just enjoy sharing the restaurants I love and hope you like reading about them!)
