DIY HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE WAFERS

Not only are these chocolate wafers amazing as is, they can be used in many variations.

Ingredients:

– ½ cup (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, room temperature – ¾ cup sugar – ½ cup packed dark brown sugar – 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract – 1 cup all-purpose flour – ¾ cup Dutch processed cocoa powder – ½ teaspoon baking soda – ¼ teaspoon salt – ¼ cup milk

 Make your own ice cream sandwiches or use them in any baking recipes that call for wafer cookies! 

HOW TO MAKE HOMEMADE CHOCOLATE WAFERS

GENERAL STEPS

Cream together the butter, sugars and vanilla until light and fluffy. Whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Combine the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and stir until incorporated. Pour in the milk and mix until just combined. Refrigerate dough for at least 1 hour.

READY TO ENJOY!

When ready to bake, prejeat oven to 350F and bake for 8 minutes, rotating the pans halfway through.
