HOW TO SMOKE A BRISKET

This is the simplest recipe for making a great smoked brisket.

Ingredients:

– 12 lb whole beef brisket – generous amount kosher salt and black pepper

We use a Traeger pellet grill, but this recipe is good for any smoker.

GENERAL STEPS

Mix a generous amount of ground pepper and kosher salt in a small bowl and evenly sprinkle the brisket. Use your hands to rub all over the meat. Refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours. Follow the cooking times in the recipe.

READY TO ENJOY!

Once the brisket reaches 204℉, remove it from the grill and let it sit for 30-45 mins before unwrapping.
