Our strawberry stuffed french toast is a sweet and decadent breakfast dish. It is our favorite to enjoy on the weekend!

The crispy edges of the bread mixed with the creamy strawberry filling will leave you wanting more!

Ingredients:

1 package (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened 2 tablespoons strawberry puree 1 tablespoon grated orange zest 4 eggs 1 cup whipping cream 8 slices very thick bread Fresh strawberries Powdered sugar Maple or strawberry syrup

HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY STUFFED FRENCH TOAST

GENERAL STEPS

Stir together the cream cheese, strawberry puree and orange zest until smooth, set aside. Beat the eggs then stir in the whipping cream, set aside. Fill pockets of the bread with a heaping tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture.

Dip the bread into the egg mixture and brown in a skillet on each side until crispy. Serve hot with maple syrup, powdered sugar and fresh strawberries.
