Oatmeal Cookies

Soft and Chewy

These oatmeal raisin cookies are a classic and the only one  you need. Hints of cinnamon and nutmeg put these oatmeal cookies above  the rest!

•Flour •Rolled oats •Sugars (light brown and granulated) •Unsalted butter •Eggs •Raisins •Walnuts (optional) •Spices (salt, cinnamon, nutmeg)

Preheat Oven

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Beat Ingredients

In a large bowl, beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Mix Dry Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Combine Ingredients

Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

Add Oats and Raisins

Fold in the oats, raisins and optional walnuts. Do not over mix.

Bake.

Drop dough balls 2 inches apart on cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes.
