Pumpkin sheet cake is a fall favorite. Baked in a sheet pan, it is perfect for a crowd. Make this for Thanksgiving dessert!

For the Cake:

Unsalted butter Milk Pumpkin puree Granulated sugar Brown sugar Powdered sugar Eggs Flour Vanilla extract Baking powder Baking soda Salt Ground cinnamon Ground nutmeg Ground ginger Ground cloves

For the Icing:

powdered sugar cinnamon unsalted butter vanilla extract *milk

Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, mix butter, milk, pumpkin, and sugars. Mix in eggs and vanilla, then mix in the rest of the cake ingredients.

Bake

Pour batter into the pan, bake 15-20 minutes, checking at 15 minutes to avoid over-baking. Test with toothpick.

Start Icing

Combine the powdered sugar and cinnamon.

Melt Butter

Melt butter in a pan over medium heat until it turns a deep golden brown.

Mix Ingredients

Mix butter with the sugar. Add vanilla and 4 tablespoons milk, 1 tablespoon at a time.

Ice Cake

Pour over the warm cake. Using a rubber spatula, quickly spread to cover the entire surface.
