Have you recovered yet from Halloween? Our trick or treating was just last night, because of the nasty weather on Thursday. Because of that, paired with all of the other fall festivities we've been attending, we are somewhat thankful Halloween is finally over.
Don't get me wrong. It was fun. And, we have a TON of candy now...never a bad thing. Okay, maybe a bad thing.
Judah decided to dress as a police man for actual trick or treating. He was many other things for the entire month of celebrating. During our Michigan trip and our neighborhood party, he was Superman. At a local grocery store event, he was an army man. At a church down the road and for his school party, he was a police man. Then, at a church in town, he was a Home Depot employee. This kid likes to change his mind!
Halloween morning, he picked up a reusable grocery bag I have and said "I got a good idee-wa! (idea) I'm going to be a grocery store picker for Halloween and carry this bag!" haha! Somehow I finally got him to change his mind by the time trick or treating started. 🙂
Let's see...what else happened this week that didn't have to do with Halloween? Last week was Ben's birthday, so I surprised him with a golfing day with his friends and this amazing Pumpkin Dream Cake (recipe from The Novice Chef).
Look who's sitting up AND crawling now.
We've had beautiful weather lately. Judah and I have been taking advantage of the outdoors. One day when we busted out the stomp rocket, we decided to take photos of our air time.
Judah's quite the photographer, huh? 😉
Recently On Seeded at the Table:
This section highlights the recipes posted recently on Seeded at the Table and other updates to the blog, if any.
Layered Oreo Pudding Dessert - Sweet layers of Oreo, cream cheese, chocolate pudding and Cool Whip. My childhood favorite.
Pretzel Dogs - Warm soft pretzel bread twisted around our American favorite hot dog.
Loving Lately:
Here I will share with you my favorite things of late, along with other snippets that have caught my eye from some of my favorite blogs and websites.
Starbucks Tweet-a-Coffee - The red cups are back! This week, Starbucks started offering a new option where you can share the joy and tweet a $5 eGift to any Twitter user. I'm having fun with this and decided to offer a treat to the first person who tweeted me this morning. Definitely plan on tweeting another one again this month. Make sure you follow me on Twitter so you don't miss out!
Kroger Mobile App - Do you shop at Kroger for your groceries? I do for about ¼th of mine and utilize their online coupons. Did you know you can load these coupons to your Kroger card so all you have to do is can your card to use them? SO easy! I've been doing this for a while now, but recently decided to download the Kroger Mobile App so that when I'm at the grocery store it is super easy to look up the coupons that are on my card. And, if you sign up for their email list, you can score some pretty sweet Free Friday deals, too!
New Ghiardhelli Products - With holiday baking right around the corner, I'm excited to see that Ghiardhelli recently came out with some new products. They now have chocolate and white chocolate melting wafers, premium hot cocoa mixes, and unsweetened and sweet ground cocoa. They sent me samples of these new items and I can't wait to put them to use! (Actually, I already did in one recipe you'll see next week. Unsponsored, friends. No worries!) 😉
Have a great weekend! See you Monday!
